Whether you need help with maximizing the utlity of our publications or want to fine-tune your youth engagement, our team is here to support your work. 

Together, we can make foster care a better experience for the young people going through it. 

Youth Engagement Training

The Youth Engagement Training provides critical learning for those who seek to effectively engage young people who experience/d foster care. This training provides context about the child welfare system and who is in foster care. Building from there, this training focuses on key concepts to understand how to authentically engage youth people who experience care, including family privilege, youth/adult partnerships, positive youth development, and coaching styles.

Publications Capacity Building

Maybe you are already using the FYI Binder, Permanency Pact, or the Transition Toolkit, but want to mae sure you are getting the most of out of our tools.

We offer 1 hour webinars and live training to caseworkers, supportive adults, and/or child welfare professionals. Our team will make sure you are equipped with the knowledge and skills you need to engage young people with our publications.  

A Call to Justice

With an intentional focus on racial socialization, we will learn how racial socialization shapes our decisions. Answer the call to justice by developing knowledge about justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion concepts. Practice skills in identifying inequities within child welfare and related systems. Develop action steps for both ongoing internal work and department/agency work to advance justice.
