Donald Robinson spent 5 years in Pennsylvania's foster care system. Donald is an athlete, a scholar, a music enthusiast ... and a foster kid. Donald is a former 2011 FosterClub All-Star. He was in the Allegheny County (Pennsylvania) foster care system for 8 years until aging out at 21. Using track and field as his stability point, he toured across 4 high schools, eventually landing himself at Slippery Rock University earning his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and Philosophy. Finishing a great 4 years to reboot his life getting involved with a variety of life-changing opportunities, he attended the University of Texas to earn his Master's in Sports Science and Nutrition. In that experience, he took his forced familiarity with traveling to enhance his career, covering 4 countries in Central America and East Africa, coaching in 2 of them. Currently, Donald owns and operates Global Human Performance, where he coaches athletes to improve their physical ability and reduce injury risk on the game field as well as assists non-athletes to improve their health and lifestyles. Via GHP, Donald also consults overseas with numerous coaches on improving their athletes. He also serves Allegheny County CYF as an Educational Liaison where he assists youth in care 14-23 with high school retention, post-secondary school planning, and independent living. In keeping with his life saving passion, he coaches high school track at Woodland Hills HS and has been a long time coach with River City Elite Track Club since his college days after running with the team in high school. When not serving others, Donald serves himself by indulging in playing ultimate frisbee, driving with his windows down and music extremely loud, hiking, playing spades with friends, hanging with his sister and nephew, traveling to new places and eating cheesecake. Donald is a certified strength and conditioning coach, USA track and field certified coach and has to date 10/2017 traveled to 6 countries
