The Adoption Exchange Association hosted the 2017 bi-annual conference in Las Vegas, Nevada at Caesar’s Palace on May 17-18, 2017. Expanding knowledge of best practices and connecting adoption professionals with their peers. Then held it's very first national match event, "Breaking Down Barriers to Adoption" on May 19.
The theme for the 2017 AEA Conference was, "Forward Thinkers in Foster Care Adoption", which centered around innovative recruitment, support, and evidence-informed efforts that attendees could utilize to identify forever homes for all children in foster care.
Attendees celebrated AEA's 35th anniversary, network at a reception and silent auction, and had the opportunity to participate in a one-of-a-kind post-conference national adoption match event for child and family recruiters.
